Richey PTO Executive Board Elections for 2026-2027 School Year

Elections for the 2026-2027 PTO Executive Board will be held on May 12, 2026 at our general assembly meeting. The following positions are up for election: President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.

Positions Available

• President: Presides over meetings of the board and General PTO, coordinates work of all PTO members to ensure duties are being carried out, sign contracts and checks, serves as liaison between PTO and Administration/Staff.
• Vice President: The Vice President assists the President as needed and accepting responsibilities delegated by the President and/or the Executive Board. The Vice President participates in Executive Board discussions and decision-making on behalf of the PTO. If the President is absent the Vice President will perform the duties of the President.
• Treasurer: The Treasurer oversees the cash flow of income and expenses for the PTO. Responsibilities include writing checks, reimbursements and preparing treasurer’s reports. A person with a financial background is desired.
• Secretary: The Secretary is responsible for recording minutes and compiling updates from the monthly PTO board meetings and then distributes minutes to board members. The Secretary should retain records of the minutes.

Board Requirements

• Parent or Guardian of a Richey Elementary School student
• Available to attend General and Executive Board PTO meetings
• Willingness to work as a team, brainstorm ideas, and plan/execute events.

Elecciones a la Junta Ejecutiva de Richey PTO para el año escolar 2026-2027

Las elecciones para la Junta Ejecutiva de PTO 2026-2027 se celebrarán el 12 de mayo de 2026 en nuestra reunión de la asamblea general. Los siguientes puestos están a la abiertos: Presidente, Vicepresidente, Tesorero y Secretario.

Si desea formar parte de un gran equipo, complete el siguiente formulario de nominación y devuélvalo a la escuela con su hijo o envíelo por correo electrónico a richeypto@gmail.com antes del 5 de mayo de 2026.

Puestos Disponibles

• Presidente: Preside las reuniones de la junta y el Director General, coordina el trabajo de todos los miembros de la PTO para asegurar que se lleven a cabo las tareas, firma los contratos y verificaciones, sirve de enlace entre la PTO y la Administración/Personal.
• Vicepresidente: El Vicepresidente asiste al Presidente según sea necesario y acepta las responsabilidades delegadas por el Presidente y/o la Junta Ejecutiva. El Vicepresidente participa en las discusiones de la Junta Ejecutiva y en la toma de decisiones en nombre de la PTO. Si el Presidente está ausente, el Vicepresidente desempeñará las funciones del Presidente.
• Tesorero: El Tesorero supervisa el flujo de efectivo de ingresos y gastos para la PTO. Las responsabilidades incluyen la redacción de cheques, reembolsos y la preparación de los informes del tesorero. Se desea una persona con antecedentes financieros.
• Secretario: El Secretario es responsable de registrar las actas y compilar las actualizaciones de las reuniones mensuales de la junta de la PTO y luego distribuye las actas a los miembros de la junta. El Secretario debe conservar las actas.

Requisitos del oficial de la PTO

• Padre o tutor de in estudiante de Richey Elementary School
• Disponible para asistir a las reuniones de la Junta General y Ejecutiva
• Voluntad de trabajar en equipo, intercambiar, ideas y planificar/ejecutar eventos.
